2026-09-02
Break the Ice, Kick‑off Begins · Embark on a Reading Journey
As the event kicked off, the staff completed all on‑site preparations in advance. The fun ice‑breaking session opened the book club. Lively interactions broke down barriers and created a relaxed, open atmosphere for communication. All book lovers set aside work fatigue and gathered at the reading event.
Inspirational Messages · Reaffirm the Original Aspiration of Reading
The General Manager took the stage and delivered a speech, placing high expectations on the establishment of the book club. He encouraged all employees to make reading a daily habit, draw nourishment from books, and apply insights gained from reading to their daily work. Strive for craftsmanship to achieve mutual growth for individuals and the company.
The Manager of Administration Department introduced the Book Club Management Rules, clarifying its operating guidelines to ensure the long‑term implementation of reading activities. All participants jointly signed the Book Club Convention. With this written agreement, everyone made a commitment to read together.
Immersive Reading · Joint Study of Six Endeavors
The event then entered the immersive reading session. The first shared book of the STPETE Book Club is Six Endeavors. Everyone settled down in their own “one-square” reading corner to study in depth the core concepts, including striving harder than anyone else and staying humble rather than arrogant. Participants pondered the life philosophy and work methodologies conveyed in the book and gained inner reflection through concentrated reading.
After the reading session, group representatives took turns to share their insights. Combining the essence of Six Endeavors with their daily work, they exchanged experiences and thoughts. The scene witnessed intense ideological collisions and mutual inspiration, enabling every participant to learn and gain profound understanding.
The surprise blind-book session further enlivened the atmosphere. Everyone unwrapped mysterious book covers and unlocked random wonderful reads, bringing unique fun and vitality to the reading activity.
Empower Progress · Embark on Future Reading Journeys
To conclude the event, the host delivered a comprehensive summary of the launch ceremony and announced the follow-up arrangement of the book club. Reading never ends with a single gathering. The company will continue to organize regular reading and sharing sessions to sustain a long-lasting bookish culture throughout the enterprise.
